Cheaha State Park will be celebrating Easter on the Mountain on Saturday, April 23, 2011, with an all-day event at Bald Rock Lodge. There will be a children’s Easter party, and adult egg race, photos with the Easter Bunny and, of course, an Easter egg hunt. The event is free for overnight guests; others pay the day-use fee. On Easter Sunday, April 24, Cheaha’s restaurant will host its annual Traditional Easter Buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with visits from the Easter Bunny.
